American actor and rapper Earl Simmons, born December 18, 1970 and passed away April 9 2021. His debut album It's dark and hell is hot released in 1998. It was primarily shown on the BET cable television channel Never Die Alone. He released his autobiography, which was based on his memoirs, E.A.R.L. in 2003. : The Autobiography of DMX. 9 DMX was introduced to the world of music at 14 in 1984 when he beatboxed with Ready Ron. After serving time in prison for taking a dog He started writing his own songs and performed at the local rec center for younger youngsters. While in prison , he was convicted of carjacking. the majority of his time writing lyrics. He also began rapping with K.Solo. He was released in summer of 1988, and then began to make and sell his own mixtapes. In these mixes, his raps were a re-mix of songs by other artists and sold them on streets corners. This helped him develop his own fan base in New York. Percee P as well as DMX both performed freestyles on The Stretch Armstrong and Bobbito Show, 1991. [15] DMX would release a demo tape later in the year featuring "Spellbound" in addition to "Critical Condition" Three Little Pigs "The Original Author of Spellbound", and "Unstoppable force". It was a style that was like Big Daddy Kane and Rakim however, it was different from his later material. In 1991, The Source magazine praised DMX in its Unsigned Hype column that highlighted hip-hop artists that were not signed. 16 Columbia Records signed DMX in 1991 to its subsidiary label Ruffhouse Records. This single was the first of his song, "Born Loser". In 1994, he released "Make A Move" the second single from his debut album. Jay-Z, Ja Rules, and Mic Gérardo appeared as guest performers on the underground classic "Time to Build" from Mic Geronimo in the year 1995.
